Key Relationships for the Children’s and Young People’s TrustThe Children and Young People’s Trust in Bristol is all about relationships; between the relevant partners including the Local Authority, between practitioners and parents, carers, children and young people.
Some of the key commissioning groups, forums and networks are explored in more depth here. These are:
Bristol Partnership – this brings together partners from all sectors to make Bristol a successful city.
Bristol Safeguarding Children’s Board – a multi-agency body that co-ordinates & leads on child protection.
Safer Bristol – the partnership responsible for coordinating actions which will tackle the adverse effects of crime and drugs on communities
Departmental Leadership Team – the main strategic commissioning and delivering body of the Children & Young People’s Services department in the Local Authority
VCSE organisations – representation of these key partners in service delivery and design as well as strategic planning is led by the Voluntary Sector Infrastructure organisations
Other Stakeholder Groups – these are single agency or multi agency groups that help identify and meet the priorities of the Trust.
