New Statutory Health & Wellbeing Board
Since the Health and Social Care Act received Royal Ascent in April 2012, work has been progressing locally to plan for major changes to health and care services. One of these changes is the establishment of a Statutory Health and Wellbeing Board in the city.
Overseen by the Council, the core purpose of the new board is to join-up commissioning across the NHS, social care, public health and other services which the board agrees are related to health and wellbeing of our city.
